PicoFemto In-Situ MEMS Gas Environment Stage for SEM
Gas environment and in-situ heating integrated into one
Making reaction processes visible in real time inside the electron microscope
Controllable atmosphere | In-situ heating | Dynamic high-resolution imaging | Software control
ZEPTOOLS PicoFemto In-Situ MEMS Gas Environment Stage for SEM integrates a MEMS gas environment microchamber and a heating module into the sample stage of a scanning electron microscope, building a controllable gas environment within the SEM chamber and enabling in-situ heating of experimental samples.
With this system, researchers can characterize the morphology, structure, and chemical composition of samples in situ, dynamically, and at high resolution within a gas environment. They can observe in real time catalytic reactions, redox reactions, growth and synthesis of low-dimensional materials, and various corrosion processes — upgrading the scanning electron microscope from a static imaging tool into a fully functional nanoscale laboratory.
